Accessibility

BookingAPI is committed to making our website, dashboard, and embeddable booking widget usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies.

Last reviewed: July 5, 2026

Our standard

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, across our marketing site and the booking widget that businesses embed on their own websites. Accessibility review is part of our release process: our most recent widget release focused on it, adding native keyboard-operable controls throughout the booking flow, programmatically labelled form fields, screen-reader announcements for errors and status changes, keyboard-focus management across booking steps, and reduced-motion support.

Known limitations

This work is ongoing and we do not claim full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance today. Independent re-verification of the latest accessibility release is scheduled, and we have not yet completed a full human keyboard and screen-reader pass across the booking flow. Some colour and focus-visibility details, and parts of the business dashboard, are still under review. We address accessibility issues on an ongoing basis and update this page as our status changes.

Feedback and alternative access

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere in our service — or on a booking page powered by our widget — please email privacy@bookingapi.ca. Tell us the page or business involved and the problem you hit. We will respond, and where a barrier prevents you from completing a booking or reaching your information, we will provide what you need through an alternative method.
